A fun and in-depth exploration of movement and individual postures with the aim of finding more space in the body and accessing deeper strength and a more congruent alignment. We look for ways to create the conditions in the body so great movement feels effortless.

In these immersions we will focus on regulating our nervous system and finding ways to return into our own axis, physically, emotionally and mentally. 

The Scaravelli inspired approach is an invitation to play with gravity, free the breath and find space in the body to allow it to move to its full potential. That way the body can start to work deeper and move more freely into yoga postures, exploring how these openings and connections can help us un-do habitual (and potentially painful) holding patterns. Then we can embark on a journey of restoration and transformation.

​This workshop will take place online via Zoom. Advanced registration required. Once I have received your registration as well as payment, I will send you the details for the "Zoom meeting" where the immersion will take place. ​

Atemübungen sind mit eine der effektivsten Methoden, um das Nervensystem zu regulieren. Lass uns morgens (online) treffen auf ein paar Übungen aus der Selbstmassage, dem Qi Gong und dem Yoga zum Freimachen des Zwerchfells, des Brustkorbes, des Nackens und des Kiefers, um dann im Anschluss für 10-15 Minuten zu atmen. Hier stimulieren wir ganz besonders den ventralen Aspekt des Nervus Vagus, welcher unter anderem für die Feinregulation der Bronchien verantwortlich ist. Bei vielen mit Atembeschwerden verbundenen Krankheiten, kann mit regelmäßigem Üben, der Heilungsprozess positiv unterstützt werden. Eine weitere Nebenwirkung dieser Übungen ist das Stärken des Immunsystems. Jedes mal lernt ihr eine andere Atemtechnik, die auch gut zum Selbermachen geeignet ist. 

Vorherige Erfahrung ist nicht nötig, und die Übungen machen wir im Sitzen, am besten ganz bequem auf einem Stuhl. Also muss man auch nicht den perfekten Yogi-Schneidersitz beherrschen :)

Un-do the habitual holding patterns and tensions in the body and return to a natural way of being. With slow and precise movements, you can re-build your body-mind connection and restore health and a sense of well-being. At the same time, this class offers a beautiful opportunity to calm and regulate the nervous system.​

Drop-in Class: 10€ 
5-class Pass: 40€ (valid for 1 month and all the teachers' classes)

The story of the Pelvic Floor - online immersion

We, and especially women, are being conditioned to tighten the Pelvic Floor as part of building core strength, through which it has over the last few decades gained an almost infamous reputation. But do you actually know, what it is? Where it is? What it does? 

In this online immersion workshop, we will take a closer look at
  • the anatomy of the muscle group forming the Pelvic Floor
  • the surrounding fascia, ligaments and bone structure
  • its correlation to the diaphragm (in fact all the diaphragms in the body, and the Pelvic Floor being one of them)
  • the role it plays in maintaining a healthy pressure system in the body
  • how it effects the spine and thus our general posture 
  • the trauma patterns it can store
  • the link to our sense of Self

This workshop is part theory, part practice. After gaining an understanding of the anatomy of the Pelvic Floor and its role in maintaining health, you will be guided through an embodied yoga practice exploring a different approach to activating the Pelvic Floor. You will gain the tools and principles to: 
  • release tension in the Pelvic Floor
  • free up the spine
  • create effortless movement in your postures
  • re-connect all the diaphragms in the body
  • regulate the pressure system in the body
  • experience the attitudes of the Bandhas

Learn how to regulate your nervous system with the power of the breath. 

Especially during challenging times, it is important to nurture our innate resiliency, so we can navigate life with more ease. This workshop is for anyone who wishes to gain some very practical tools to help them with their own anxiety, as well as yoga teachers, social workers, nurses or therapists, who wish to support their community. During this workshop, that will be part theory and part practice, you will learn:
  • about the Polyvagal System and how we respond to difficult situations
  • how the Vagus Nerve is related to the respiratory system and how this is key to managing/healing chronic respiratory conditions
  • the importance of diaphragmatic breathing 
  • how the Vagus Nerve might be compromised because of muscular tension and how to free it
  • many techniques and practices from the teachings of Yoga and Qi Gong to release tension, activate the diaphragm, create more space for your breath, focus the mind, and develop more awareness of your breathing
  • ways to integrate breathing exercises in your own practice or classes you teach or work you do
  • three breathing techniques broken down step by step so you can a) practice them on your own, or b) share them with others
  • how to make this practice as accessible as possible
