Because you want to be able to support others in their healing process and want to learn a new modality, or because you want to study the teachings behind the practice, or for self-development. I am committed to share as much of my knowledge and experience as I can, and hope I'm able to guide you on this journey.

HEAL

We are all dealing with our own stories. Some are causing more, and some less pain. But they all need healing. We can change the narrative of these stories, from the story of pain to the story of health. And eventually we begin to feel ourselves again. My main aim is to hold a safe and inclusive space in support of everyone's individual healing process. 

PRACTICE

Whether you are looking to deepen or to start your practice, or to develop a daily self-care routine... I believe in a non-dogmatic approach, rooted in ancient tradition as much as in modern science, and that Yoga and all body-mind practices are available for All. The true potential lies in developing a regular and sustainable practice.

Our bodies are designed to heal

All my work is rooted in that belief.

The body has an incredible innate intelligence. It already holds all the information to being healthy. It’s like there is a blueprint to the body’s health. The process of healing is therefore always one of self-healing. I can't fix anyone. As a teacher and therapist I can however facilitate an environment of less conflict, in which someone feels safe and comfortable enough to come home to their true Nature.

This might require a lot of work un-doing all of the habitual holding patterns, re-educating the body, re-wiring the nervous system. In a world, that feels less and less safe to live in, and with life throwing so many challenges at us, that are simply too much to deal with, the process of healing can take time. But it is always possible to change the story of pain back to the story of health eventually.

Hi, I'm Katrin Heuser, the person behind Hadadi

My whole life, I have been interested in the body and movement. After many years of dance, my Scoliosis lead me to Pilates and finally to Yoga and Thai Massage, which then became my path in life.

For me, my work is about the never-ending exploration of the body and mind, and a way of discovering the beauty of life. As we bring the awareness to what is happening inside and where we are in the present moment, the body is encouraged to release where it is holding. Then we can embark on a journey of restoration and transformation.

I hold a 500h Level 4 NVQ Yoga Teaching qualification, trained in Manual Lymph Drainage and have studied extensively in Thai Yoga Massage and Osteothai, including a Master Osteothai qualification, over the past years. Through my work as a bodyworker comes also my understanding of trauma, chronic conditions and pain, as well as the influence of working with fascia, the craniosacral system, structural support and regulation of the nervous system.

​I used to run a Yoga Festival in London and launched an online anti-stress breathing programme. Since 2015 I live in Lisbon and run Little Yoga Space, where I teach and give Osteothai treatments, and I am the director of Hadadi, offering foundation and advanced training courses in Thai Massage and Yoga worldwide.

Training courses in Thai Yoga Massage and Yoga

Learn the ancient healing art of Thai Yoga Massage, a powerful form of bodywork with countless benefits. Develop the skills to support people in their individual healing process. Start with the Level 1 & 2 practitioner training or explore the various advanced modules.

For Yoga teachers who are ready to create change, I run a 60h training called The Language of the Body - a therapeutic and trauma-informed approach to teaching Yoga. 

Osteothai Treatments

Are you suffering from an ongoing condition that has a real impact on your day-to-day quality of life? Are symptoms such as pain, fatigue or anxiety challenging you in your normal routines? And all you want is feel yourself again?

​With Osteothai we can't really fix you, however, it can offer profound and complimentary support to help you find more ease and comfort, to manage the severity and frequency of flair-ups, to relief the pain and to speed up recovery.

Free therapeutic Yoga class to ease neck and shoulders 

I try to stay in touch with my regular newsletter and to share content as often as I can. That might be in the form of a free video for example or some of my ponderings on certain topics. When you sign up to my mailing list, I will send you a free 60-minute therapeutic Yoga class straight away. 

Hadadi is Hebrew and means 'reciprocation'. In Thai Yoga Massage there are always two people on the mat, with the giver receiving the trust of the receiver, and the receiver giving that trust to the giver. It is a meditation practice as much as therapy form, with both people giving into the present moment, and receiving a deep connection from the heart. As much as you give, you receive back in loving kindness. It is like an echo (the route of the word Hadadi (Hed) in fact means echo!). In bodywork generally, reciprocation is also a technical term to describe the relationship we create to all parts of the body and the tissues through our touch.
