The Summer Dance ~ a Yoga & Thai Massage holiday in Andalusia
with Elisabeth & Katrin
Drawing strength from the high energy of the summer season, bring out your inner, unconditional Joy that resides within us all. Rejuvenate body, mind and spirit by tuning into the high vibrations of this season and connecting with Mother Nature. This retreat offers a unique opportunity to learn Thai Yoga Massage and to dive more deeply into your yoga practice. Begin your day with a nourishing yoga session, and in the afternoon learn the profoundly healing art of the 'Sacred Dance'.
Pura Natura, a 5-hectare estate, offers an abundance of nature and beauty, nestled between the sea and the mountains in Andalusia and provides the perfect ambience for pure relaxation and reconnection.
Thai Yoga Massage, with its grounding and deeply relaxing qualities, is the perfect antidote to our modern lifestyle stresses. With the release of holding and blockages, not only the body can regenerate, but the mind also has a chance to quieten down. Thai Massage is a practice of deep connection between two people with the aim to free and move blocked energy. Aside from learning some fun and delicious moves and stretches, you will get a chance to embody the main principles of this bodywork - loving kindness, compassion, empathetic joy and equanimity. Thai Massage is like a meditation in action. By the end of the week you will be able to exchange a very balanced 45 minute session.
In the yoga classes we will work in an unhurried and playful way to explore how the release of tension, accessing deeper strength and creating space can develop a fabulous sense of freedom in the body - a beautiful compliment to the Thai Massage, preparing the body and mind.
On one of the days, we will organise a beach trip (with picnic) after the yoga to enjoy the warm mediterranean sea and get into the real holiday mood! This is included in the price.
On the last night, to celebrate our time together, we will be served a typical Spanish meal, a delicious Paella (vegetarian version).

Elisabeth loves movement (climbing and Yoga). Years ago, through her job as a nurse, she came to Ashtanga Yoga, which became the pivot point in her life. Since then, many things have changed in her life. Long travels in Asia led her to Thai Massage/Osteothai, a combination she finds fascinating ~ the dynamic movements of Thai Massage meeting the subtle movements of Osteopathy. This sacred dance has become her passion and life journey.
Elisabeth is a qualified CAM practitioner (Heilpraktiker in Germany) with her focus lying on Osteothai/Thai Massage and Craniosacral Therapy, giving treatments in Cologne, where she lives. She also teaches Ashtanga and Yin Yoga courses and runs retreats worldwide.
